Australian Grand Prix Chauffeur — Albert Park Transfers

Formula 1 week brings road closures and heavy traffic around Albert Park. We plan your drop-off and pickup around the official traffic arrangements so you spend the day at the track, not in a queue.

Planning around Albert Park road closures

During the Grand Prix, roads inside and around Albert Park Lake are closed and many surrounding streets in South Melbourne, Middle Park, St Kilda and Albert Park have restricted access. Drop-off and pickup locations are subject to the official event traffic plan published each year, so we confirm the closest permitted point and a clear meeting spot with you before the day.

Corporate guests and VIP hospitality

For corporate hospitality we can run several cars on a schedule — collecting guests from CBD and Southbank hotels, dropping at the agreed point near their gate, and returning them to dinner or the hotel after the final session. One coordinator contact keeps changes simple.

Flying in for race week

Many visitors arrive at Melbourne Airport the day before practice. A single booking can cover the airport pickup, daily race-day transfers and the departure run, with your flight details used to coordinate the arrival pickup.

Groups and families

A Mercedes V-Class seats up to seven and a Sprinter up to eleven passengers, depending on configuration, luggage and child seats. Let us know your group size and preferred session times in your enquiry.

FAQs

Australian Grand Prix — your questions

Can you drop us right at the circuit gate?+

Only where the official traffic plan allows. Access changes each year and by day, so we confirm the nearest permitted drop-off and pickup point when we confirm your booking.

Is it better to book a return or hourly booking?+

If you know when you want to leave, a return booking works well. If your plans may change, or you have dinner afterwards, hourly hire keeps the same chauffeur on standby.

When should we book?+

Grand Prix week is one of Melbourne's busiest times for chauffeurs. Enquire as soon as your tickets or hospitality are confirmed.
